Black Visionaries Luncheon
Black Visionaries Luncheon
06 - 2022
To celebrate Black entrepreneurs and creatives, Instagram hosted an exclusive, invite-only event at the Brooklyn Museum, offering guests a private preview of the Virgil Abloh exhibit one month ahead of its public debut.
I had the privilege of conceptualizing the spatial design for the occasion, transforming one of New York’s most iconic cultural institutions by bringing the essence of a lush garden indoors. Collaborating with a local NYC florist, we crafted custom floral installations—including a statement arrangement at the entryway and a vibrant overhead display above the seated luncheon area. The infusion of greenery and color added warmth and texture to the open space, creating a serene yet impactful atmosphere that honored both community and creativity.
